Pisces is a complex water sign ruled by Jupiter and Neptune.Pisceans are highly sensitive,emotional and imaginative beings.Kind and compassionate,they are popular because of their gentle,unassuming natures.They live in a mental world rather than the real one and rely more upon their feelings and intuition than actual facts.However their hunches and premonitions are often correct-they are sometimes even endowed with a sixth sense.

Zodiac Sign Aquarius

Quite an unconventional sign, this Aquarius!It is difficult to slot them in a definite recognisable category.There is even debate whether it is a water sign or an air sign.What's more while tradition regards it as being ruled by Saturn modern astrologers assign it to Uranus.No wonder I am confused when I think about the Aquarians!If there is an enigmatic personality on your radar it is very likely he is an Aquarian.

Aquarians are unfathomable because of  many  reasons.Firstly they are ahead of their times-progressive and inventive.Secondly they are highly unconventional.They do not believe in obsolete or illogical conventions and generally like to stir up things.If you frown at this, it does not bother them, because they are very self-contained;they do not need your or my approval.Deviating from norms is not a big deal for them.They are fiercely independent.And intelligent.And intellectual.And highly observant.They love to gather new experiences and try out new ideas.Short cuts appeal to them.

If you think all these qualities place them next to intelligent robots you are dead wrong because theirs is the most humane of all signs.They are genial,honest,sincere and loyal.But they do not wear their emotions on their sleeves,which is why they are often misunderstood.This is exacerbated by their elusive nature.What's more,they dislike clinging relationships.So their spouses will have to understand this aspect of their personalities if there is to be peace in home.Rather than giving their all to one relationship,they have concern for the whole humanity.

Coming to their faults the most glaring one is their stubborn nature.They are reluctant to change even if their beliefs or methods are contrary to the times.Unpredictable and sometimes perverse-they like to shock people.Cool and tranquil to a fault-it will take a mammoth push to hurry them up.

But all said and done--though distant,they are genuine,likable persons.

Zodiac Sign Sagittarius

A Sagittarian is like a free bird flying high without any restrictions or limitations,looking for independence & expansion.The latter could relate to any field--physical environment,mental interests like knowledge & learning,or spiritual pursuits.He has a  sharp intellect & a colorful personality brimming with enthusiasm & confidence.Frank,honest,generous,jovial,just & likable;he is also plain speaking to the point of being blunt or tactless.He goes straight to the point like the archer,& dislikes devious,underhand beings.He is a good friend but only till you do not interfere in his life or begin to give him directions, because he knows what to do! The upside is that he too,will not meddle in your affairs. 

A Sagittarian's penchant for independence can cause problems where close relations are concerned because such relationships naturally entail restrictions & obligations which can suffocate a free spirit.All will be well if he meets the right partner but teaming with a suspicious or possessive spouse could result in separation.For this very reason some of those who value their freedom above all, may not marry at all;but if they do,this tendency requires monitoring.

Overconfidence & misplaced optimism is another pitfall which the Sagittarian needs to watch out for.It can foil his prospects.His hot impulsive nature could further complicate matters.

#Scorpio-The Powerhouse

Need i say more?A lot has been said in this image on the left.And i am also scared of putting my foot in my mouth because these walking talking dynamites are a force to reckon with!

In order to keep everybody happy,i will start by saying that Scorpio is the most misunderstood of all signs.Maybe because Scorpions hide their feelings very well.Why?Because trust does not come easily to them.What you see of them is only the tip of the iceberg.Or the top of the volcano!That is why no one can grasp them fully.

You or i may not fathom them,but they can dive to the very depths of our souls--so be warned!There are solid reasons behind this warning.Scorpions are highly intuitive --they can catch in a jiffy,the vibes coming from the person in front of them.They are also extremely observant & shrewd.

The most prominent characteristics of a Scorpion are his intensity,grit & determination.This intensity colors all aspects of his life & functioning.It is all or nothing for him.Then there is self control & self reliance.Fearlessness & resourcefulness.Tremendous stamina to stand up again after a fall;although this is seldom required because all qualities enunciated above make for thundering success.

A Scorpion may look detached to onlookers but he is extremely caring of those he loves.He will be kind & loyal to them.It is best to stay on his right side!

A Scorpion's intensity could be harmful if it was turned towards a wrong direction.I read somewhere that he is either a saint or a sinner.Look at the planets which rule him-Mars the God of war & Pluto the God of underworld.This may sound scary if considered in isolation,but there are other planets too in the picture & the zodiac sign does not determine everything.A lot depends upon where the other planets are placed.

Zodiac Sign Libra

If all earthlings were Librans there would be no acrimony,no disputes and no wars.What an enchanting thought!But the Librans are that-enchanting!More than anything else they love peace,harmony,beauty & elegance.The environment has a strong influence upon them & they cannot be happy in discordant or ugly surroundings.Their ruling planet Venus blesses them with a love for beauty,luxury,art & music.

A very prominent feature of their personality is tact & diplomacy.They are charmers------period!As if that was not enough booty for one sun sign,they possess that elusive balance between head & heart.They evaluate everything from all possible angles & perceive the pros & cons in every situation.As a result they can accurately decide what they want & being the lovable subtle manipulators that they are;you will soon find yourself toeing their line & believing that this is what you need!But no need to fear,because their sense of justice will not allow them to wrong anyone.Naturally they are very good at making friends & these friends contribute a lot to their success.Er,they manage to put them to work very smoothly.It is easy to get along with them because they do not hurt any one's feelings.

The image on right gives a concise tally of their strengths & weaknesses.Now for the tricky part .Librans' secret nightmare is that anyone should dislike them.To obviate such a chance,they face the prospect of turning into people pleasers .After all creating a good impression is of paramount importance !So they may nod their heads to this,and also to that,because it is painful to take sides.They not only want to make a good impression,they also do not like to hurt anyone.But this tendency can project them as being unreliable,changeable & indecisive.

Before i wind up,let me vote for my own post.I have a Libran grandson& all that i have written above resonates with what i see in him.He is a darling,but prone to people pleasing.
A word of caution too:Librans are susceptible to diseases of the lumbar region,lower back,kidney & bladder.

Zodiac Sign Virgo

Intelligent,analytic,disciplined & practical--Virgos have all the prerequisites of success.They are well organised,methodical & tireless workers.If they take up a task they will execute it to perfection.Their ruling planet Mercury endows them with a keen sense of discrimination.A detail which has been missed by all others will be pin-pointed by a Virgo.When faced with a problem or a tough situation,they will analyse it from the point of view of common sense & logic--which they have in profuse quantities.This makes them terrific problem-solvers.They also make excellent doctors scientists & engineers.Their lives are usually well planned.They like everything to be neat,clean & tidy--their homes are a delight to live in.

However all these super-duper qualities do not give them swollen heads.In fact they are shy & retiring by nature.They shun limelight.You could call them aloof but i think it is their shyness & overactive intellect which keeps them preoccupied & musing.

Need i say more?Unfortunately a lot remains to be said & it is not so palatable.Firstly, their critical,analytic & perfectionist traits can sometimes cojoin to make them fussy faultfinders.Not everybody is blessed with the qualities which they have & a little bit of untidiness or disorder is not as inimical as spoiled relationships.This critical tendency of theirs is often directed at their own selves-affecting their well being.They need to forgive their own lapses as well as those of others.

Another characteristic of the Virgos which is not so healthy is their health-fads.They want their health to be perfect always-which is not possible.They will analyse every tiny twitch or click & then brood over it.They have to guard against becoming hypochondriacs.

Virgos are sometimes judged as being cold.This probably derives from an odd fetish--they don't like to be touched.It is not a very prominent attribute but if found in married persons it has to be guarded against.

Now before any of you take umbrage at all that i have said above,one caveat: there are three Virgos in my family & it is not as if they are all peas of a pod.While one was a painstaking,hardworking person of retiring nature,the second is a shy perfectionist & the third is critical & health-conscious.It all depends upon individual horoscopes too.

Zodiac sign Leo !

Leo is the royal sign of zodiac & it's ruler is the Sun.So naturally,a Leo is authoritative,impressive,magnetic & distinguished.He has natural qualities of leadership & organisation.He is very ambitious & aims at the top.His intelligence,self confidence & a strong will help him to reach his goals.What's more,he is honest,loyal,sincere,generous & very humane too.No wonder he is widely admired & respected.His loved ones are specially lucky to have him around because he is extremely magnanimous where their needs or desires are concerned.

What else?I have run out of all my adjectives now!Therefore let me start with the opposite strain.Any quality,when carried to the extreme,can become a detriment.Likewise with the Leos.Take care you do not bamboozle gentle folks into submission,because you do like to dominate.While it is true that you are helpful & generous;you expect a lot of approbation in return & if it is not coming in your desired quantities,will you resort to strutting or boasting?I hope not!Then again,your liking for ostentation & opulence could incite you to overdo it --so take care.As you are very sure of your own views,it is easy to slip into intolerance.Some Leos can be dogmatic too.

I guess it all depends on the placement of other planets in your horoscope and your own sagacity--how far you are able to channelize or curb the rush of your energy.

Have i been hard on the Leos? No! How could i annoy the king of the zodiac? Take this as a piece of fun please!!!!!!!!!!!

Zodiac Sign Cancer

It must have been a Cancer who first developed the concept of home and family because this tribe is exceedingly attached to both.Guys if you are looking for a home-maker,a loving partner & a sensitive human being, go look for a cancer.She will make a cozy harmonious nest for you.Something of a martyr-she is capable of sidelining her own desires for the sake of her family.She is a die-hard romantic & very emotional.She will conserve every little bit of memorabilia---give her a huge cabinet to store them.Loyal,patient,tenacious & dependable--what more could a guy want?

But wait!This is a water sign,ruled by moon.Moon's phases can be predicted,but not the cancer's moods.They are changeable like a chameleon.The slightest slight from you & she could go into one of her moods.Sometimes it is impossible to fathom why she is so gloomy at a given moment,because her feelings need not always be grounded in reality--she lives a lot in her mind.By the way cancer means crab in Greek!

Hard on the outside,but tender underneath?Actually she is very thin-skinned & highly impressionable.You can well imagine the outcome.Her kin will have to work hard to ken her moods.

Let us look at the brighter side.This timid,conservative angel has a heart of gold.It beats not only for her family,but for anyone in distress.She is a fine friend to have--and keep.The glitzy scene of parties does not charm her as much as a quiet evening at home with family & close friends.Just as water takes on the shape of a container,she can adapt to changed circumstances.She is happy when near water.

Zodiac Sign Gemini

If you know a quick-witted,versatile,high-strung life-of-the-party,chances are he will be a Gemini.Mercury is their ruling planet,& they are just that--quick in thinking & movement.Very restless.Full of nervous energy.Communication is their forte-they are outstanding conversationalists or commentators.They make maximum use of this faculty by chatting,gossiping & latching on to all possible means of communication (they have hordes of friends on whom to hone this skill).

But do not misunderstand me--they are not idlers.This happens only when they have indulged in multifarious activities to their heart's content.They have the rudiments of umpteen subjects & skills at their fingertips--enough to impress people & earn a reputation of being well informed.They certainly love variety & change.That is why they often change their vocation more than once.

Does this extend to their romantic partners too?Ahem........depends.On individual horoscopes.They are very restless & could be fickle too.It is generally thought that they connect at the thought level & lack emotional depth.Maybe because they love to conquer new frontiers & are always on the move.The unkind may call them scatterbrained too. 

Gemini are mostly short in height & slight in built.They are susceptible to afflictions of the nervous system,chest & arms.

They possess a sharp business acumen.Are they devious ?Again a lot depends upon individual horoscopes(i don't want to annoy any friends).But they are charmers no doubt.Another typical quality is their dexterity with hands,which they use a lot while talking.No no,not for bashing people,but for driving home their point.Therefore stay clear when they start talking!

ZODIAC SIGN TAURAS

I opened my eyes in the lap of a super Taurean and none better could i have wished for!Taureans are famous for being kind,affectionate,patient,loyal,steady,conservative,dependable,predictable and practical.Phew! Did i leave any adjective there?It is not my fault,they are like that only.And believe me, i do not say this because my mom was one.

Moving on to other things,they love music, beauty & harmony.No wonder they are so easy to get along with.It helps if you ply them with lavish spreads of tasty grub & do not comment about their weight.Ahem, they are also very possessive & woe betide their lover/spouse if s/he has a roving eye because they can be very jealous.

They are slow to anger & violent outbursts are rare.Determination & perseverance are their hall marks.They are inflexible & resist change.What else?Oh yeah,they are rather materialistic in outlook & love their comforts because these things give them security.

I think i had better stop-i can see some brick-bats coming my way!Let me hasten to add that these are only general guidelines--individual horoscopes count a lot.

Zodiac Sign Aries

All the skeletons will tumble out of my cupboard today!Arians are said to be fiery,impulsive and headstrong--total demolition of many things sane and sensible ?An Arian is like that only--ready to take off at the slightest stimulation!Do first and repent later.Fire with all guns in your stock.Reckless,impatient and blunt--could there be a better formula for collecting enemies and annoying people?

But please do not hasten with your verdict.We Arians have many plus points too.For example the moment an idea catches our fancy we hasten to put it into practice.We will start a new project with much gusto,but what can we do if the novelty wears off ? Anyhow, we can boast of umpteen unfinished ventures in our kitty; which too, is no mean achievement.But please,don't ask us to see them to the finish.It is so boring!

What else ?Oh we have many more sterling qualities but I cannot possibly blow my own trumpet can I ?I leave it to you dear readers,to fill in the gaps.And yes,if I have been too harsh , take it as a picture of my own horoscope,OK ?

I would simply love to receive inputs from fellow Arians or those who know an Arian intimately.I hand over the mike to you now.Cheers !!!
