Voices heard years ago
Now lost,
Forever and more.
Do they linger
In the air?
In the air?
Not heard by me,
But very much there?
I ache to hear
Once again,
My name,whatever,
My name,whatever,
In voices dear,
Priceless and precious,
Lost forever!
Priceless and precious,
Lost forever!
Yesterday I had a very vivid dream of my mother calling out my nickname.I was upset throughout the whole day and then I wrote down the thoughts which were churning inside me.
I just lost my grandmom... cant totally understand and relate with this poem...

DeleteI've lost my dad and I miss him every single day. I know what it feels like, and nothing said or done by anyone can make amends. May God bless her soul.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry for your loss.Fathers are like a roof over head, the very basis of our existence.Nothing and no one can fill this void.
DeleteVery beautifully written. Those precious voices will always be out there and will provide you with comfort and solace when you need them.
ReplyDeleteOh Raj,you show me a comforting way of looking at it.
